Gilad
was born in Israel to immigrant parents from Germany and Canada.
He lives in Jerusalem, is married, a father to 4 and grandfather to 2. As
a nature lover, he graduated Tel Aviv University in various fields of life
sciences. He is a retired Chief Superintendent (Lieut. Colonel) from the
Israel National Police, whose job focused on training trainers and
developing teaching methodologies. During his national service, Gilad
organized and guided many tours of delegations and individuals, and he
became familiar with many different angles of Israel and its People. In
1983, after completing two years of intensive studies in Geography, Archeology,
and History he took the Israel Tourism exams and
became a licensed tour guide and tour manager. Gilad is a true
nature lover with extensive knowledge of Israel landscape, flora and
vegetation. Gilad is self-employed,
working with individuals, as well as families and groups – whether
Israelis or tourists.
